The late İsmail Akın, who added value to the Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School with his contributions to the field of education, was commemorated at his grave by his students and the school administration on the first anniversary of his passing. During the memorial program, prayers were offered, and emotional moments were experienced during a visit to the home of his wife, Münevver Akın.

The late İsmail Akın, known for his contributions to education and the future of youth in Yeşilova, was not forgotten on the first anniversary of his passing. After the grave visit, the school delegation went to the home of the late İsmail Akın's wife, Münevver Akın, where they also supported the family by offering prayers. Münevver Akın, who chatted with the students, spoke about the spiritual legacy her husband left her and the bond he established with the students.

The School Principal Dr. Faculty Member Faruk Gökçe stated that they will continue to keep İsmail Akın's name and legacy alive, saying, “We will always keep Uncle İsmail's legacy and name alive. We will work to raise the youth he entrusted to us in the best way possible. This valuable legacy he left will continue to live on with the future of our students.”

“I have hundreds of children from all over Turkey”

Münevver Akın expressed her happiness at the students' visit and explained the significance of her husband's contributions to education from her perspective. Akın said, “It is a very difficult feeling to describe. Alongside my four children, I have hundreds of children from all over Turkey that İsmail entrusted to me. My children work abroad, and I alleviate their longing with you.”

Münevver Akın stated that she has come to understand the value of the charity her late husband did over time, expressing that these contributions aim to touch the lives of youth and future generations. Akın shared her feelings with the words, “I now understand better what the late İsmail did. All the charity he did was for future youth and people. I cannot express how happy I am. My sadness diminishes with this happiness.”
