A Technical-Educational Trip to Eskişehir Province was Conducted by Our College Students.

A technical education trip to Eskişehir was conducted on 03.04.2026 by the students of Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School.
The students of Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School organized a technical education trip to Eskişehir to enhance their professional knowledge and experience. The trip, attended by students from the Tourist Guidance, Culinary, and Tourism and Hotel Management programs, was an important event supporting practical education.
The school principal Dr. Lecturer Faruk GÖKÇE, vice principal Lecturer Anıl ÖRNEK, and Dr. Lecturer Uğur TOZKOPARAN accompanied the trip. Within the program conducted under the guidance of the academic staff, students had the opportunity to examine the historical, cultural, and touristic values of Eskişehir on-site.
Within the framework of the technical trip, first, Seyyid Battal Gazi Tomb was visited to gain information about the historical and spiritual significance of the region. Then, Odunpazarı Houses were toured to examine important examples of traditional Ottoman architecture. As part of the program, Eskişehir Modern Museum and Eti Archaeology Museum were also visited to closely observe significant works in the fields of art and archaeology. The trip was completed with a visit to Sazova Park.
Thanks to the conducted technical trip, students found the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge in the field while also increasing their observations and experiences related to the tourism sector.
It was emphasized that such technical trips are of great importance in developing students' professional perspectives, getting to know the sector closely, and enhancing their on-site observation skills.
