February 9 is celebrated in our country as "Quit Smoking Day" with various events to raise awareness about tobacco use and its harms, and to encourage those who use tobacco products to quit. As a result of the informational activities carried out, it is understood that the number of calls to the ALO 171 Quit Smoking Advisory Line and applications to smoking cessation clinics have increased, and that these informational activities have made significant contributions in this regard. To create public awareness about the harms of tobacco products and to ensure that this awareness continues to increase, February 9 has been declared as "Quit Smoking Day".
Therefore, you can contact our Addiction Combat representative Dr. Lecturer Faruk GÖKÇE to get detailed information on the subject.
