At Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School, the "Experiential Learning in Tourism Education: Fully Applied Education Model" has started to be implemented.

With its unique beauty, a tourism education complex has been established in a location intertwined with nature near Lake Salda, which is visited by many domestic and foreign tourists every year.
On the ground floor of the education complex, there is the Tourism Vocational School; on the second and third floors, the Salda Lavender Hill Hotel operates.
Within the scope of the fully applied education model, the courses included in the curriculum were integrated with the hotel operation. Thus, a unique example of fully applied education was created.
The Director of the Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mert Gürlek, said, “We developed the fully applied education model based on David Kolb's Experiential Learning Model. We hope it will become widespread across the country.”
