A meaningful event was organized on December 3rd, World Disability Day, at Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School.

Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School hosted a special event on December 3rd World Disability Day. Culinary program students met with disabled individuals living in Yeşilova in the practice kitchen and made pizza and cupcakes together.

Throughout the event, a warm and sincere atmosphere prevailed, and culinary students shared the treats they had prepared in advance with their guests, creating enjoyable moments. One of the most special moments of the program was the cake prepared by the students with the inscription “En Büyük Engel Sevgisizliktir”. The cake was cut together by disabled individuals and students.

At the end of the event, disabled individuals packaged the pizzas they made in the kitchen to share with their families. This meaningful event once again demonstrated that love and solidarity can overcome obstacles.

Yeşilova İsmail Akın MYO Culinary Department Faculty Members stated that such events are of great importance in increasing social awareness and touching the lives of disabled individuals.
